Apple IPad an Ifail?

The Apple IPad
Apple IPad an Ifail?
Seems like the Ipad was creating a huge buzz around the marketing world, a hand held touch screen iphone on steroids in the size of a laptop (with no keyboard).
The Apple Ipad feels like holding a net book, and while the design and touch screen are extremely flashy, it still possesses some of the same problems as the IPhone.

You can see more about the IPad here in the videos and learn how it works.
Pros:
A pro which is often not talked about is how the IPad effects the entire future of laptops, held computers, and mobile devices as we know them. When Sony, HP, Acer get a hold of the IPad and understand its full fuctionalities, they will release superior versions which are able to do what the IPad does but better, this is not necessarily a con for the industry as we know it, it’s a plus. It means that the IPad is innovative in that it will grab the initial marketshare and get more brand loyalty for Apple products (Apple products are already featured over Microsoft in schools worldwide). The IPad is going to create touch screen laptops which will be convenient for business users looking to work on railway rides, airplanes, and for convenience in business meetings.
Another pro is the massive size of the hand held IPad device, in comparison, the IPhone is too small a screen and makes it inconvenient to type and browse the internet, you have to scroll and make the screen bigger which doesn’t work with the big yet tiny mobile device. The IPad has over 1000+ sensors in it’s screen which helps users click and feel exactly what they want on the screen.
The wide keyboard is a major improvement on this big screen, especially when you flip the IPad for landscape mode, it adjusts accordingly. It is really like carrying a notebook anywhere with you and giving you the convenience of browsing, viewing pictures, making phone calls, or writing documents.
The number of applications is truly amazing, with over a 145,000+ and more coming out as programmers become familiarized with the IPad.
The quality of the IPad is truly amazing and crisp, you can watch HD movies on it and see them in perfect quality, this is great for a getaway trip when you don’t like the movies being shown on your coach bus or airplane ride.
“At 9.6 inches by 7.5 inches, it fits nicely in your hands. And at a half-inch thick, it would also slip neatly into a handbag or backpack.”

Regardless of the positives and intuitiveness surrounding this, there are many negatives.
For one, surfing the internet won’t be very convenient considering that the IPad cannot display Flash. This is a big no no, many websites today incorporate flash and it’s simply too detrimental to not have Flash included in web browsing and applications.
Another major problem is multi tasking, in comparison to a regular laptop, you cannot play music and browse the internet at the same time, considering there are so many applications, using one application at the time is extremely poor.
NO CAMERA! Can you imagine, a design this beautiful and you can’t even use it to take pictures? Not even a 3.0 mega pixel camera?
Price range: $499-$699 depending on the gigabite range
Final verdict: Ipads will be an IFail product, they are a tad pricey entering the market when you consider they are a cross device between mobile phones and computers but never truly capturing the essence of either device.
